  • Supports the health of the mother and contributes to the healthy development of the fetus
  • Helps to strengthen the baby’s health during the first years of life
  • Contributes to lowering the risk of congenital anomalies

Benefits

MAIN COMPONENTS

PUFA Omega 3 (DHA). This is one of the key components that ensure the health of the mother to be and her baby. It penetrates the placenta to the fetus, helping the development of its brain, nervous system and eyes. DHA helps to strengthen the walls of blood vessels and capillaries, to normalize the work of the heart, to lower the level of “bad” cholesterol. A sufficient level of DHA in the body of a pregnant woman contributes to the lowering of the risk of premature birth.

Vitamin D. During pregnancy, this vitamin is especially necessary, since without it, calcium is absorbed to a lesser degree. Its deficiency can lead to rickets, one of the results of which is the incorrect formation of the skeleton.

B group vitamins ensure the normal functioning of the nervous system and take an active part in the metabolic processes during the formation of the fetus. Deficiency of vitamins B9 and B12 is associated with defects of the neural tube formation, intrauterine growth retardation, miscarriage and risk of premature birth.

Vitamin E and niacin are needed for the normal development of the child and the proper functioning of the placenta. They help to prevent possible threats of miscarriage in the early stages. They are necessary for the normal development of the fetus (in particular, they take part in the formation of the respiratory system of the baby). Vitamin E improves the function of the ovaries and promote normal hormonal levels.

Selenium and zinc. A serious lack of selenium and zinc in the body of a pregnant woman can lead to a child with congenital anomalies (muscle weakness, spine underdevelopment, heart defects, respiratory system diseases, nervous disorders). Deficiency of these minerals can also lead to late toxicosis, swelling, anemia and premature birth.

Iodine is important for the normal functioning of the thyroid gland. Insufficient intake of this element during pregnancy can lead to the formation of a goitre and subsequent changes in thyroid function in the mother and the development of thyroid disorders in the child. Therefore, during pregnancy it is recommended to check the thyroid gland and ensure sufficient levels of iodine.
